Lab Spray Booth (Laboratory Paint Booth)

Autocoat has designed and developed a wide series of Lab Booths built to fulfil stringent pollution norms with amazingly low running cost. All Autocoat Lab Booths are 100% assembled and tested in-house — guaranteeing performance at the customer’s site. Computer-generated labels, detailed drawings and well-documented manuals ensure effective lifetime use.
Water Lab Booth uses a pumpless miniature washing chamber with turbulent action that separates paint particles — waste paint collects in a tank for easy disposal. Suitable for all types of baking or air dry, water base or solvent based paints, primer, sealer, epoxy, alkyd, acrylic and polyurethane.

Dry Back Paint Booth (Low Cost Spray Booth)

Autocoat has designed and developed a new series of Dry Back Paint Booth with amazingly low running cost — addressing the major hurdle of costly filter replacement that plagues Indian industries. The Dry Back Spray Paint Booth is also known as Low Cost Spray Booth — cheaper than Water Type and ideal for paint consumption of around 20 litres/shift.
The key innovation: Autocoat uses cleanable and removable metal baffles that arrest most paint overspray. Unlike competitors’ coarse filters which choke and must be replaced (often within 1–2 weeks), Autocoat’s metal baffles can be cleaned by normal methods and reused — reducing maintenance cost to amazingly low levels.

Water Wash Spray Booth (Wet Type Paint Booth)

Autocoat Water Wash Spray Booths are ideal for high paint consumption applications where thorough capture of overspray paint is required. The washing action in a Water Wash Spray Booth ensures complete separation of pigment, resin and solvent — with paint additive added to the water tank. Only solvent escapes with exhaust air; all paint particles are captured as sludge.
Water Wash Spray Booths are the preferred choice for mass production environments and where strict pollution compliance is essential. The clean air exhausted outside the factory ensures no paint reaches the atmosphere.

Side Draft Booth (Side Draft Paint Booth)

Autocoat Side Draft Booths are the most popular and cost-effective spray booth configuration for industrial products. In a Side Draft Booth, air flows horizontally — entering from one side and exhausting from the opposite side. This design is ideal for small to medium-sized components painted by an operator standing in one position.
Side Draft Booths are available in both Dry Back and Water Wash configurations — making them suitable for a wide range of paint types and production volumes. Lower initial cost and lower operating cost make them the first choice for most industrial applications.

Downdraft Booth (Downdraft Paint Booth)

Autocoat Downdraft Booths are specially used for painting of heavy parts and large components — wagons, earth moving machinery, chassis, trailers, tractors, buses and cranes. In a Downdraft Booth, air flows from top to bottom through either an open roof or an air replacement system. The operator can paint all sides of the component by moving around it.
Downdraft Booths come in Dry Back or Water Wash configurations. Dry Downdraft uses Autocoat’s 4-level filtration for low paint consumption applications. Wet Downdraft is for high paint consumption and mass production — requiring civil work for the pit and sludge removal system.

Large Paint Booth (Large Spray Booth)

Autocoat Large Paint Booths are recommended for painting of heavy parts and large components — wagons, chassis, trailers, Rail Coach, Earth Moving machinery, Bus Body, Windmill Blades and large industrial structures. Dry Type Large Paint Booth is designed with Side Draft airflow and is popular for lower initial and operating cost.
For bigger components Autocoat offers Dry Type or Wet Type Large Paint Booths, or Cross Flow Paint Booths where air drafts from one top corner to the other end. Autocoat has also tied up with M/s Guangdong Jingzhongjing from China for Large Spray Booth cum Ovens for Wind Mill Blades, Rotor assembly, big structures and Luxury Buses.

Small Conveyor Plant (Conveyor Painting Plant)

Autocoat Small Conveyor Painting Plants are the ideal upgrade from batch painting for manufacturers with production volumes above 100–200 components per shift. In a conveyor system, each part moves through the finishing process at the same rate — no wait time, no downtime, constant progress. Payback period is typically 2–3 years.
A typical Autocoat Small Conveyor Plant is designed with an Autocoat Dry Back Paint Booth, Flash Off Enclosure and Accelerated Drying Oven — with conveyor speed ranging from 0.3 to 1.0 metres per minute for economical pricing. Ideal for small to medium-sized components of uniform shape.

Paint Drying Oven (Paint Curing Oven / Paint Baking Oven)

Paint Drying Ovens — also referred to as Paint Curing Ovens or Paint Baking Ovens — remove moisture from water-based coatings and adhesives, and cure paint through heated air recirculated inside the oven chamber. A heating chamber heats air which is then circulated inside by fans, maintaining a predetermined temperature via thermostatic controls.
The provision of a Paint Drying Oven ensures speeding up of paint drying, improved product quality, increased durability and dust-free finish. In many cases, adding a staving oven and switching from air-drying to enamel paint significantly improves finish quality and reduces paint costs.

Infrared Curing Oven (IR Paint Curing Oven)

Autocoat Infrared Curing Ovens are designed to cure or dry water-based or high solid stains, sealers and topcoats rapidly. High velocity flash-off sections enhance the curing process. IR ovens are engineered to fit over existing conveyors or built as an integral part of a new finishing system — economical, reliable and easy to install.
Electric Infrared ovens use resistance heating elements heated to incandescent temperature. Key design features include vertical and horizontal zoning for flexible IR application, precise layout of elements for shape factor correction, insulated element wiring for extended life, and non-contact temperature sensors for optimum control.

UV Sterilization Products (UVC Disinfection Range)
Autocoat Engineering, leveraging 35+ years of expertise in infrared light and turnkey manufacturing, developed a complete range of UVC Sterilization Products to help fight the spread of COVID-19 and other pathogens. UVC light (100–280 nm wavelength) inactivates microorganisms by destroying nucleic acids and disrupting DNA — preventing cellular replication. Autocoat’s UVC range achieves 99% disinfection of surfaces.

The Autocoat UV Sterilizer Box (also called Virus Killer Box or UVC Sanitizing Box) sanitizes household and office items placed inside with germicidal UVC lamps. Once the item is placed inside and the lid is closed, UVC tubes irradiate all surfaces — destroying the cell structure of viruses and bacteria. A safety mechanism ensures UVC lamps only operate when the lid is fully closed, protecting the user from UV exposure.

Autocoat UV Room Sterilizer (UV Tower / UV Trolley) is a portable UVC disinfection unit for decontaminating large rooms, surfaces and equipment. Unlike chemical disinfectants that cannot reach all surfaces, UV Tower provides both vertical and horizontal sterilizing effect — rapidly inactivating all pathogens on beds, tables, equipment, walls and floors within 30 minutes. The Autocoat UVC Tunnel Conveyor is designed for continuous, high-volume disinfection of packaged goods, groceries, medical supplies and factory components. Items pass through the UVC tunnel on a conveyor belt — receiving a controlled dose of germicidal UVC radiation on all exposed surfaces. Ideal for food processing facilities, packaging lines, hospitals and manufacturing plants requiring continuous sanitation of incoming materials.

UV radiation from the sun is divided into three categories: UVA (315–400 nm), UVB (280–315 nm) and UVC (100–280 nm). UVC is the germicidal range — wavelengths between 200–300 nm are strongly absorbed by the nucleic acids of viruses and bacteria, disrupting their DNA and rendering them unable to replicate. Autocoat’s UVC products operate with peak intensity at 254 nm — the most effective germicidal wavelength. UVC is presently used in food, air and water purification, and is the technology behind all Autocoat UV sterilization products.
